WELCOME!

Dr. Nutt earned his PsyD from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois, in 2019 and has experience working with clients across the lifespan in various settings, addressing a range of clinical concerns including anxiety, depression, school-related issues, and family conflict. His clinical training and practice have included providing mental health services and comprehensive psychological assessments to children, adolescents, adults, and families, with extensive training in working with individuals and families impacted by and healing from trauma.

With a commitment to providing quality mental health services, Dr. Nutt begins by understanding his clients’ lived experiences and values. He strives to collaborate with clients to integrate current best evidence, practice-based evidence, and clinical expertise in a way that is accessible and supports clients toward their mental health goals. His approach is developmentally tailored, neurodivergent-affirming, and culturally sensitive.

Therapy with Dr. Nutt uses two primary, often integrated, approaches to healing: top-down (cognitive, brain-based) and bottom-up (somatic, body-based). Dr. Nutt is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
